When I opened the EMI Master Plan I was literally speechless. It is INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much!! I wish you and the rest of the team could have seen the Board members' faces when I presented it to them this weekend. There was applause, praising, and some impromptu speeches of thanks. Everyone here is overwhelmed with the team's commitment to doing God's work, as shown through the obvious time and effort you have put into working for BCC, and with your amazing level of skill! It is like in Nehemiah chapters 1-3, where Nehemiah prayed for help in rebuilding Jerusalem's walls and God answered his prayers. Just like Nehemiah in 2:20, we know that "The God of heaven will give us success" in our building! On behalf of the entire Bushikori Christian Centre community, THANK YOU! We absolutely cannot thank you enough. There are not sufficient words. Not only do we have this wonderful document and brochure to present to donors, but we also have hope and plans for the organization's future.

When the team of architects and engineers arrived in Tegucigalpa, I was amazed to see them coming together and working in such a unity and love, submitting to one another and giving their best to the Lord and to us, especially since thy never met in person before. This was their first time serving as a team. This was a vivid example of how the Body of Christ needs to work together as one, using their talents and abilities for the Glory of God. Thank you EMI team for your love, service and humility; may the Lord bless each and everyone of you!
We were so impressed with you all and we trust that we will be able to see Kchag rise from the ruins and become the place Jesus wants it to be.

We did appreciate your coming here very, very much... It was amazing and we feel that the whole week was the highlight of this summer. And wherever we have been since that day we have been telling people about your unselfish act of love towards the people of Lebanon and in particular the Armenians. Thanks a lot!...

I just want to let you...know that the EMI Team has been such a blessing. They are working literally day and night to try to leave us exact plans for the new dorm, with gas, water, a survey of the whole property and a whole lot of other good things that I don't know how to articulate. There is also a computer whiz here networking all of our computers. There are 12 on the team with 10 of them being engineers. They are about to work us to death. They go to bed at 3 a.m. and get up at 6 a.m. It is incredible. Their heart is to leave us with as much done as they possibly can. You should see the drawings for the new dorm and the plans for developing the whole property. Well, we just feel blessed out of our socks. How God Networks!!!!! This is awesome. Thanks again.

Words can not express my gratitude for all that you have done for us, the report is wonderful and I have been looking through it...with much joy and excitement. The time, effort and expertise that you have all put to this project is amazing, thank you seems so small to say in comparison.

I was thinking it's about time I wrote you a note, expressing our thankfulness and gratitude for all the wonderful help and professional advice we have received and continue to receive from the staff here at the EMI office.
Todd and Shana [Todd is Director of EMI-Guatemala] have set a high standard of excellence and continue to give good leadership. We also enjoy the conscientious help and input from the various interns you send our way.
As I said to them last week; "Only when we are enjoying heaven will we be able to fully understand how important each and every act of kindness done in the name of the Lord has been".
We are very glad that the Lord gave us the help of the ministry of EMI. We work well together. I wish you could see it for yourself. Thanks again and may the Lord richly bless you all.

Most of you likely know that this past February I had the opportunity to travel to Jordan with Engineering Ministries International (eMi). God taught me so many things about himself that I thought I had already learned but apparently needed to re-learn. Our EMI team task was to design a summer youth camp for Palestinian refugee children on a barren site in the deserts of northern Jordan. When I returned home to Indiana, I found .I couldn't stop thinking about the all-transforming power of the Gospel and it's relevance in our every day lives.
I saw for the first time how my faith and my profession truly go hand-in-hand. In a nutshell, I was overwhelmed at how this barren desert full of rocks, snakes and scorpions could be transformed into a lush, abundant and refreshing paradise as a result of the pure, cool water that springs forth from the site's well. And not only that, but it will become a haven of rest for destitute and needy refugee children. It's just like the act of total transformation that the Gospel causes in us, converting our desolation into abundant life.
Moreover, this camp will teem with children who are hearing for the first time that God loves them and believing that Jesus died for them. It all makes me think of Isaiah 55 that says:
"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be which goes forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."
As these children hear about Jesus, little seeds of truth will be sown in their little lives, and I remain confident that these seeds will not be planted in vain. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that this is the same transformation that God has caused in my own life, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is truly amazing.

...if you combine Survivor. The Amazing Race.Church Camp..and Work in a blender and mix it up..that is a snippet of what my two weeks in the Middle East were like!!!
Survivor from the fact that we had a team of twelve people that did not know each other from Adam that were divinely put together to accomplish a common task in a short period of time..Amazing Race in the fact that we traveled thousand of miles; 9 plane legs; 3 countries; 8 cities; countless mini-buses and automobile rides; living out of duffel bags and back packs.Church Camp as we were all believers singing, praying, fellowshipping, and seeking what God had in store for our time together...and finally Work as we used our every day talents and skills in a manner that accomplished a tasked that will benefit thousands of children and families in the years to come!!!

My name is Todd Mestepey and I am a civil engineer working in Wichita, Kansas. I have just returned from a short term trip to Guatemala with my church, Eastminster Presbyterian. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the EMI team leader. My experience in working with them was wonderful. It was nice to work with folks who are spirit filled and love sharing Christ in their profession....Until I went to Guatemala I wasn't aware that engineering services were part of the great commission... be assured that God is being glorified through your EMI office in Guatemala.
