Our Story
Living and serving in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, we are a family of five, Chris (the engineer), Kayle (the teacher), Amirah (the big sister), Layla (the goofy little sister) and Kasen (the rambunctious little brother). We serve to train and disciple people in fields of technical design to support Christian organizations in order to aid the development of underprivileged communities throughout Southeast Asia. Through Chris’s work as a civil engineer and director of the Cambodia Office, he brings expertise from his experience in construction management, innovative energy, water, and sanitation projects, infrastructure, and master planning development. He has always had a heart to help through his technical tinkering and bring hope to the hopeless through his engineering practices. Originally from Colorado, we miss the majestic Rocky Mountains always outside our windows, but we would never pass up this calling to offer assistance in this developing region and the witness of seeing Christ come alive in the people around us. At the core of our family is a heart to share Jesus with everyone we meet. That means dwelling here in Cambodia, cultivating faithfulness in those around us, and trusting our LORD in everything we do. Relationships and loving those around us is what matters most to us, whether it is with those we are serving through our engineering work or the people we get to do life with every day. We strive to build the first ministry of our family in a way that brings light to our fallen world and encourages restoration of relationships all around us. We desire to encourage others to seek and find Jesus and walk along with them as we all follow Him. As a like-hearted person, consider joining us through your support to witness the coming of God’s Kingdom to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
