Project Scope
In this North African country where just 25 years ago there were only four known believers, now at least 65,000 have come to know the Lord, mostly through visions and dreams. They have banded together in homes and rented spaces, much as the 'first church' did 2000 years ago in a land where there have been no formal evangelical churches. In 2006, a law was passed banning religious gathering in homes, but the constitution also stated that all people have the right to a place of worship. Therefore, the government, for the first time in centuries, is allowing eight churches to be built. Two have already been constructed with the help of a regional ministry that is raising up church leaders from within this country. EMI has been asked to design a small to medium-sized proto-type church building that could be modified for various sites, while focusing specifically on the first two communities.
This is a unique opportunity to serve the growing Church, our brothers and sisters in Christ, in an area where they are persecuted and to powerfully advance His Kingdom work as we strive to reach all the nations with the saving message of Jesus Christ. We are seeking mature believers and experienced design professionals for this trip. Would you prayerfully consider applying for this monumental EMI project trip?
