Design projects are the heartbeat of EMI’s work and ministry. Since 1982, EMI has completed over 900 projects in almost 90 countries. We rely on the skills and talents of willing design professionals to make our designs a reality. We are actively recruiting design professionals in most major disciplines for a variety of upcoming project team opportunities. Review the project descriptions below and contact the project leader via email or phone, or fill out our volunteer form so we can contact you.
Typically the ministries EMI serves would prefer the design completed within a 6-8 months after they send in their application. Due to this, EMI tries to lead all the trips we have applications for within the next trip cycle. Often times we do not know for certain which projects we will be approved until 3-4 months prior to the next cycle. EMI has three trip cycles per year: Spring (Feb-May); Summer (June-Aug); and Fall (Sep-Nov).
