Original Project Scope
GOM wrote us this Fall saying, "I just wanted to say thank you once again for all your help in our Costa Rica Project (a ministry campus). The architects and engineers that the Lord sent on that team were spectacular.. I have just returned form Sierra Leone. The three Paramount Chiefs agreed with their tribes to turn over the Mokanjo Hospital over to our mission. The only way to proceed is to involve EMI once again. We need a team of architects and engineers who are familiar with rehabilitation of damaged hospital buildings to come up with a plan. At the handing over ceremony there were ten different speeches by Muslims, church leaders, political leaders and medical staff. They all gave testimonies of people who were getting sick in that area and by the time they had arrived at the nearest hospital which is some 5 or 6 hours away the people had died. All three communities unanimously voted to give us the (old and abandoned) hospital in the hopes that would be able to get it up and running."
Please join us for this exciting opportunity to serve the poor in the name of Christ within a diverse community of ethnic and religious backgrounds!
