EMI India is actively seeking applicants for an experienced Construction Manager. EMI India provides project management consultancy, turnkey design build and comprehensive design services to a wide range of clients throughout India. The staff is made up of local and international staff serving in construction, architecture, structural, civil design and project management roles. Staff are based at the office in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi and are occasionally mobilized to project sites for consultation with our partners, or to provide project supervision.
The scope of EMI India's construction management services includes cost estimating and other pre-construction services, direct management of construction crews, sourcing and purchasing materials, quality control, and appointment and management of general contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar required.
- 4+ years relevant experience and a strong track record of success in site engineering roles.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain schedules.
- Proficient in programs such as: Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook, Power Point, and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership and ability to lead multi-national multi-discipline teams.
- Create and maintain construction project schedule and budget.
- Produce regular financial reports.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring fair rates and good quality.
- Inspect on-site works for safety and quality.
- Manage general contractors and/or subcontractors to contract requirements.
