We are in need of a seasoned contractor, construction manager, or someone with design-build leadership experience to come and build capacity in our team in Delhi. We have several opportunities for design - build project in Delhi over the coming years. The office works in English, and you can also get by while travelling with just a few phrases of Hindi, so no need for extensive language learning. Spouses / families are welcome as there are plenty of local ministry opportunities and schooling options.
After re-positioning the EMI India office in Delhi in 2012, the team has seen continual growth both in numbers of local staff and the types of services that are available to serve Indian ministry clients. The hiring of Indian engineering staff with construction experience began in 2015. Shortly thereafter the long standing dream of providing meaningful input and guidance during the construction phase of a project finally started gaining traction. Since then, the office has seen a growing interest from clients in the area of full time construction management and more recently construction. Starting with 2 successful small design-build construction projects in 2018, client interest in turnkey, start to finish projects has continued.
Now EMI India is ready to take the next step. There are multiple Indian staff members with construction experience, an oncoming advisory board member with 4 decades of successful building projects for Indian ministry clients, and several projects in the Delhi metro area asking for construction services for new projects. By venturing into construction, we hope to ensure EMI designs are implemented effectively, build office sustainability, and allow ministry leaders to focus on their calling rather than managing construction projects.
Will you come help us build capacity in our design-build construction efforts?
