- MEM, Engineering Management, Wichita State University, Wichita, KS 2010
- Aerospace Engineering in Wichita, KS, 2006-2010
- Serving with EMI since 2010 in varying roles
After graduating from John Brown University, Justin was employed by Spirit Aerosystems as a structural engineer. A few short years later, Justin found himself as the lead engineer that managed the design of crucial structural parts on the Boeing 747. This added responsibility along with acquiring a Masters of Engineering Management helped Justin realize that he had technical skills that could work well with an organization like EMI.
Ministry Experience
Justin made the change from aerospace engineering to EMI in 2010 after coming to a crossroads. God was stirring his heart and growing his desire to help those with fewer material resources through the use of engineering. This led Justin to EMI where he has served as an intern and a staff member with job roles ranging from Project Leader to Disaster Response Coordinator to Information Management Specialist.
Family
Justin grew up on a family farm in Kansas that instilled in him an aptitude for all things mechanical and technical. Even though Justin is a few hours away from the farm, going back to see family and driving a tractor are always joys to him.
Justin and Stephanie were married in 2018 and live in Colorado Springs. They enjoy riding bicycles and spending time with friends.
