Project Scope

English

Give & Teach is a Christian ministry seeking to reach out to some of the poorest families in Guatemala. Their mission is to share God’s love in a practical way and to rescue children through education, by empowering and equipping teachers to provide learning environments and educational strategies that will help children with various learning styles, as well as meeting the spiritual and physical needs of those in need.

They have recently purchased an undeveloped 5.5 acre site.  The vision for this land is that it will meet physical and practical needs in the community, providing a place that offers opportunities to educate children and adults, as well as meeting spiritual needs by providing a place for the community to come together and worship.

This project is a re-design for a new site of a past conceptual design eMi did a few years ago, because Give & Teach was not able to get title to the previous land. This trip is shorter than most, but gives volunteers the opportunity to explore Guatemala on their own after the design portion.
