Chsitian Relief Fund Saltillo has focused on providing spiritual encouragement and educational support for children for the past 13 years, they have been leasing a building for the past eight years and are now excited to begin planning to purchase a property for their future long term campus. EMI Mexico will partner with them to help size their project scope, provide insight on local code, land zoning and infrastructure in order to make an informed desicion and move forward with their project.
Project Scope
Christian Relief Fund (CRF) Saltillo have been serving the vulnerable sectors on the outskirts of Saltillo, Coahuila for over 13 years. They have focused on providing spiritual encouragement and educational support for children and have been leasing a building for the past eight years. They now have a team of six full time staff of six who provide morning and afternoon sessions for 130 children. They are preparing for their next big step in ministry and want to team up with EMI Mexico. CRF Saltillo wants to purchase a property and design a master plan for their future school campus that will enable them to serve better but before they move forward with such investment, they need EMI to help them understand their infrastructure, ministry program and spatial needs. EMI Mexico is blessed to partner with CRF Saltillo in this initial stage of their expansion to help them size their project scope, provide insight on local code, land zoning and infrastructure in order to make an informed desicion and set them up for success in the coming stages of their project.
The project trip will consist on meeting with the minnistry leaders, their staff and some of the benificaries to:
- Understand the ministry's vision and their programs.
- Catalog their needs.
The EMI team will discuss the collected data, and use various needs analysis methods and resources to report a summary of anticipated spatial and infrastructre needs as well as their options for expansion and land selection. Present a report at the end of the week and provide the ministry with instructions on the next steps in their project.
EMI Mexico will then work on a full report based on the project team's findings/recomendations and deliver that to CRF in 1-2.5 months time. This report will focus in adressing five main segments:
- CRF Saltillo vision, mision, and project concept.
- Scale of project scope.
- Size of future campus.
- Infrastructure considerations
- Recomendations moving forward.
