Access to clean water, reliable healthcare, and good education are basic human needs. EMI empowers ministries to provide these services to underserved communities all around the world by designing facilities that directly impact quality of life.
From the UK it’s hard to contribute to this work directly, but you can support EMI UK as we mobilise built environment students and professionals to use their skills to serve. Join the Foundations Team by giving monthly to EMI, and you can be part of the community making that happen!
By becoming a part of this team, you'll be joining Christian professionals around the world who donate monthly, supporting design services which improve quality of life for entire communities, as well as creating job and discipleship opportunities globally.
Every month, donations from our UK Foundations Team enable us to plan ahead and consistently make an impact together. Some examples include:
- Reaching out to UK students and professionals with opportunities to serve.
- Promoting the importance of Creation Care in the global south
- Providing discipleship resources for UK professionals at home
- Mobilising interns and fellows to be professionally and spiritually discipled through our early careers programme.
- Supporting our long term staff abroad.
- Mobilising professional volunteers to share their expertise through EMI
All of our mobilised staff and volunteers play a direct part in improving quality of life for communities in need, through designing projects like hospitals, schools, and community outreach centres.
