Ministry Experience
Ryan's first international trip with EMI was as an intern out of the Colorado Springs office in 2008 to Kenya. Ryan then went to serve on three more project trips as an intern out of the EMI Uganda office in 2009.
During his professional career, Ryan volunteered as a civil engineer on three more EMI project trips in the 2010s. First, to Egypt in 2011, then Lebanon in 2012, and finally Nepal in 2015.
Ryan answered the call to join EMI Canada as full-time staff in 2024 when a request for an International Projects Coordinator / Project Leader was made known. It had been Ryan's dream to join EMI full time ever since his first EMI internship experience back in 2008, and so this request felt like a direct answer to a 16 year long prayer.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” God was indeed faithful to Ryan and fulfilled his dream and passion to becoming a full-time staff member with EMI.
Ryan now works to contribute to EMI Canada's growth, stability, and increased impact in the Kingdom of God by leading international EMI project teams to bring restoration to the world through design.
