Cole worked for two years for a large electrical contracting company in their engineering department. He worked as a virtual designer in coordinating the electrical distribution plans as well as designing prefabricated frames for their large underground conduit runs. Cole had been looking for missions opportunities since 2021 and once he found EMI he knew it was the next path he wanted to pursue. Cole joined EMI staff as a fellow in 2025.

Ministry Experience

During his time at Purdue, Cole was involved with Campus Outreach. After hearing a call to overseas missions he did a Missionary Internship in the summer of 2023 in Brussels, Belgium with Mission to the World (MTW). After that internship, Cole began to seek a way to combine his engineering degree with overseas missions and that is what led him to EMI.

Family

Cole and Riley have been married since 2024. They both grew up in Indiana, where the majority of their family still resides. They have one daughter, Noelle (born 2026).
