B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2014

After graduating from MIT with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Bruce worked for an aerospace company as a propulsion engineer. He spent almost 7 years designing, building, and testing unmanned aircraft. In 2021, he and his wife Hannah (who serves as a Landscape Architect) joined EMI, where Bruce works as a research specialist in the R&D department. 

Ministry Experience

Bruce grew up in East Africa, where his parents served as missionaries in Kenya and Tanzania. At MIT, he was involved with Cru, where he led small groups and went on a summer project in South Africa. Since college, he has been involved in several churches, continuing to lead small groups and serve in various capacities. 

Family

Bruce met his wife Hannah on a mission trip in South Africa during university. They got married in 2016 and have 2 daughters, Jamie and Sage, who were both born in Uganda.
