Prior to joining EMI, Doryne worked for 8+ years in three well-established architecture firms in Kampala during which time she gained comprehensive experience in Practice Management (day to day operations of the office and client relations), Project Design (Conceptualization of design ideas, preparation of scheme and submission drawings), Quality Control Management, Project and Site supervision, Tender documentation, and Contract management. She joined the EMI Uganda office in January 2023.

She is passionate about Integrated Design, Building Technology, and mentoring of young professionals.

Ministry Experience

Doryne gave her life to Christ in 1996 at a “Heaven’s gates and Hell’s flames” drama production held by the then Kampala Pentecostal Church (Watoto Church now). Throughout her teenage years and while at university she actively participated in her childhood church (All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala) and served on fellowship committees. Doryne and her husband Phillip now attend Rooted Community Church in Bulindo-Kira and together steward the Marrieds’ fellowship, dubbed ‘Forever Fellowship’.

Family

Doryne & her husband Phillip met while in Architecture school and have been married since 2015. They are blessed with 2 Children: Amari (2017) and Amani (2021).
