Professional Training & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Pan-African Polytechnic Institute of Dakar in 2021

After obtaining her degree in Architecture at the Pan-African Polytechnic Institute of Dakar, Esther completed a 1-year internship in the EMI Senegal office. In this office, she gained architectural experience through the assistance of good professional mentors and a diversity of projects (schools, ministry centers, hospitals).

Today, Esther works with EMI Senegal's multidiplinary team as an architectural technician on projects in West Africa.

• Licence en Architecture, Institut Polytechnique Panafricain de Dakar en 2021

Après avoir obtenu sa licence en Architecture à l’InstituPolytechnique Panafricain de Dakar, Esther a fait un stage dans le bureau d'EMI Sénégal pendant une durée de 1 an. Dans ce bureau, elle a gagné de l’expérience en architecture avec l’assistance de bons mentors professionnels et d’une diversité de projets (écoles, centres ministériels, hôpitaux).

Aujourd’hui, Esther travaille avec EMI Sénégal en tant que technicienne en architecture avec une équipe multidisciplinaire sur des projets en Afrique de l’Ouest.

Ministry Experience

Born and raised in a pastoral Christian family, Esther has had many ministry experiences including leading worship, Sunday school teaching, and youth ministry in her church.

In Senegal, Esther joined several missions such as the JES (Jeunesse Evangelique du Sénégal, Evangelical Youth of Senegal) in 2017, the JPEED (Jeunesse Protestante Evangélique pour l’Entraide et le Développement, Evangelical Protestant Youth for Mutual Aid and Development) in 2022 and several other Christian organizations. She has also participated in several ministry-related activities (camps and missionary trips) all over Senegal as a volunteer.

Etant née et ayant grandit dans une famille Chrétienne pastorale, Esther a eu plusieurs expériences avec le ministère notamment dans la louange, l’enseignement à l’école du dimanche, et la jeunesse dans son église.

Dans le térritoire national, Esther a rejoint plusieurs missons comme la JES (Jeunesse Evangelique du Sénégal) en 2017, la JPEED (Jeunesse Protestante Evangélique pour l’Entraide et le Développement) en 2022 et plusieurs autres organisations chrétiennes. Elle a également participé à plusieurs activités liées au ministère (camps et voyages misssionaires) un peu partout au Sénégal en tant que bénévole.

Family

Esther is the daughter of Pastor Gabriel Sagna, who is the president of the FES (Fraternité Evangélique du Sénégal, Evangelical Fraternity of Senegal) and of Marie Cécile Coly, secretary of the Sarah Senegal movement. They have both served with the local and international church for over 20 years. Most of her brothers and sisters are also invested in church ministry.

Esther is a young single woman who enjoys and shares her life with her family, loved ones and friends.

Esther est la fille du Pasteur Gabriel Sagna qui est le président de la FES (Fraternité Evangélique du Sénégal) et de Marie Cécile Coly sécrétaire du mouvement Sarah Sénégal. Ils servent tout deux avec l’église locale et internationale depuis plus de 20ans. Ses fréres et soeurs sont également pour la majorité investit dans le ministère de l’église.

Esther est une jeune célibataire qui profite et partage sa vie avec sa famille, ses proches et ses ami(e)s.
