After graduating from college, Isaac’s main line of work has been in various design and build projects, mainly residential and commercial. Isaac has also worked as construction manager for local design firms and performed as lead architect on small scale design projects, as well as manager of permitting and inspection processes for projects that came though his personal design and build company in the course of 8 yrs. He now serves as Staff Architect / Construction Manager with the EMI Mexico office.

Ministry Experience

Isaac has been very involved with the local church in different short-term mission trips in the Baja area. Most of these trips have involved small building improvements for local churches with a few larger design and construction projects for other ministry organizations. Isaac’s first connection to EMI was through his friendship with EMI staff Jorge Aguero in 2017 when they both participated as local volunteers on a camp masterplan with the Nicaragua office.

In late 2020, Isaac formed part of the initial consultation and advisory team for EMI Mexico, supporting the initial efforts, research and events that helped launch of the office. Since then, Isaac has become full-time staff, supporting the office in various in-house detail design projects and is currently in training to become a project leader for the team.

Family

Isaac is married to Gloria, and they have two children, Caleb (5), and Samara (3). They have lived in Ensenada throughout their 7 yrs of marriage and serve in their local church. Gloria is a stay at home mom and as a family they look forward to serve god in this new stage in their lives and ministry.
