Afterwards, Jason spent 7 years working for the Water Resource Management Department of the City of Auburn where he assisted in the management, design, and construction of the water and wastewater utilities. In 2013, Jason joined EMI as the Water Sanitation and Hygiene Program Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Ministry Experience

Worship through music is one of Jason's greatest joys and passions for serving the church. He has been involved with worship leadership since high school, mostly as a volunteer. He served on the worship team at Church of the Highlands in Alabama, and is currently serving on the worship team at New Life Church in Colorado. He has been actively engaged in discipleship through small groups and intentional community in the local Church. In 2007, Jason was impacted by the incredible need for access to clean water and sanitation around the world and began to discover that God had prepared him as an engineer as a foundation for ministry in the global Church. This led him to join EMI and participate in the restorative work God is doing through this ministry.

Jason and Sarah met while attending Auburn University in 2001. They got married in 2005 and have since had four children. James (2007), Will (2009), Josh (2011), and Lyla (2015). They are passionate about serving in the local and global Church and desire to raise their children to do the same.
