Ministry Experience

Julia comes from a Muslim background and made the decision to follow Jesus at the age of 22. After experiencing persecution in her home country, she and her family fled to Russia, leaving everything behind to begin again.

She often refers to Russia as her “Egypt”, the place where she came to deeply know God as Father. During six difficult years in Moscow, her faith was refined and strengthened. Through hardship, uncertainty, and rebuilding from nothing, Julia learned to fully depend on God’s provision and faithfulness.

From 2013 to 2019, she faithfully served in various denominational churches in Russia, supporting worship ministry alongside her husband by preparing and displaying lyrics during services and helping create an atmosphere of praise.

Family

In 2019, Julia and her family began again, this time in the United States, arriving as refugees. She describes America as God’s “Promised Land” for her family, a place of restoration, stability, and new calling. Today, she continues to serve with gratitude, resilience, and a deep passion to encourage others through her testimony of God’s faithfulness. She enjoys time spending with her family and exploring new "places".

It is a true privilege for Julia to be part of EMI, serving God with the talents He has given her. She is deeply grateful and truly blessed to work alongside the finance team and the people God has placed around her.
