I have some 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including running my own business for many years carrying out home renovations alterations  and bathroom/kitchen improvements covering all trades  

Ministry Experience

I continue to have a strong pull to be able to support those living in extreme poverty, knowing that even small assistance can dramatically change a family or a community.

After having been away from Africa for some 40 years, I'd almost given up on the idea of returning to Africa.

Then, at the beginning of 2024, my wife, Cathy, was asked to apply for a professional post in Kampala, and as a result, we relocated to Uganda.

I'm excited that God has given me an opportunity through EMI to 'give something back' in a practical way as Workshop Small Projects Manager in the Uganda Regional office.

I was born in Kenya to missionary parents, returning to UK in 1981 at the age of 12.

Married Cathy in 2008 and have three daughters. One remains in the UK
