Tendo Samuel Jackson

Graduate Electrical Engineer, EMI Uganda

Joined EMI August 2024

Professional Training & Experience

I have had internships with three companies, that is; Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited, Ntake Bakery and Company Limited and Roofings Rolling Mills during my time at the Univiversity. I later worked with a self-employed electrician in the field of electrical installation before joining eMi for two internship terms (T1 and T2, 2024). Currently, I am serving with eMi as an Electrical Engineering Fellow.

Ministry Experience

After accepting Christ as my Savior, God led me to a journey of missionary work to share the Good News of Christ with others. Through my Church fellowship, I have participated in a number of missionary activities like preaching the Gospel and testifying for Christ in schools, hospitals (even Mengo hospital, my place of birth), and in communities where I have seen many give their lives to Christ and others reviving their Faith. I have also participated in mission work outside Uganda (Kenya - St. Paul's University Limuru and Rwanda - Gahini for community mission). I am on a continuous journey of growth in ministry work and currently I am believing God to grow in mentoring youths in my fellowship.

Family

I am the fourth born, and only boy of my dad and mum's four children. My elder sisters; Lydia, Rebecca and Pheobe are all now married. My parents Mr. and Mrs. Malunda are also saved Christians and I attend the same Church fellowship with them.
