On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck northern Venezuela less than a minute apart, causing widespread devastation across Caracas, La Guaira, Morón, and surrounding communities. As families begin the long road to recovery, EMI's disaster response teams are actively supporting relief and rebuilding efforts through strategic partnerships. Working alongside Camino Alliance, we provided training in post-disaster building assessments, repair, and seismic retrofit, alongside spiritual/emotional training that equips churches across the affected region to become centers of refuge, hope, and resilience for their communities.
