On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck northern Venezuela less than a minute apart, causing widespread devastation across Caracas, La Guaira, Morón, and surrounding communities. As families begin the long road to recovery, EMI's disaster response teams are actively supporting relief and rebuilding efforts through strategic partnerships. Working alongside Water Mission, we are helping meet urgent humanitarian needs for clean water. We are also partnering with Camino Alliance and Next Step Ministries to provide training in post-disaster building assessments, repair, and seismic retrofit, alongside spiritual training that equips churches across the affected region to become centers of refuge, hope, and resilience for their communities.
