Professional Training & Experience

Engineering Software & Technical Tools. Jesiah is proficient in industry-standard engineering tools, including ArcGIS Pro, Autodesk Civil 3D, Recap, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, HY-8, and EPA.SWMM. These platforms were used for watershed modeling, stormwater design, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. 

Programming & Computational Skills. With a working knowledge of Python, R, HTML, C, and MathCAD, Jesiah is capable of supporting data-driven analysis and automating tasks for engineering workflows.

Field & Laboratory Experience. Jesiah has been involved in surveying and mapping, water sampling, stream monitoring instrumentation, and environmental data collection. In the lab, he has performed ASTM-standard material testing on soils, aggregates, metals, asphalt, and polymers

Modeling & Numerical Analysis. He brings a strong foundation in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater analysis, and geoprocessing. Jesiah has applied these skills in academic and professional contexts to support infrastructure design and environmental assessments, using tools like HEC-RAS and Civil 3D to produce accurate, actionable models.

Leadership & Communication. Jesiah has completed leadership training through programs sponsored by the NSF and AAAS and has studied professional technical communication at SDSM&T. His background also includes customer service training, supporting his ability to work well with teams, clients, and stakeholders across diverse project environments.

Family

I grew up in Northern Colorado with two brothers and loving parents.  

I have a beautiful wife, Mackenna, and a baby girl named Sianna. 

Mackenna and I have been married since July of 2023, and it has been a wonderful past 2 years getting to call her my bride.
