Professional Training & Experience

  • Bachelor of Architecture B.Arch. (Hons), Makerere University, 2021.

Nobert started his career in Architecture at an architecture firm in Uganda where his passion for social, cultural and environmentally sensitive design developed. During this period, he gained knowledge and experience ranging from master planning through building design. At the time he joined EMI, Nobert had gained experience from project concept design through to tender document preparation, construction supervision, contract administration; and Post Occupancy Evaluation. He has a strong desire to learn and share knowledge through media publications.

Nobert served on the Uganda Society of Architects (USA) 19th Council—where he evolved his leadership ability, developed professionally, and served on the media team as editor of the Architecture Uganda Journal. He has participated in Corporate Social Responsibility projects, as well as planning Continuous Professional Development seminars. Nobert also served as a member of the Society's Board of Education.

Ministry Experience

Nobert continues to serve in the body of Christ through discipling others in Bible clubs and other Christian fellowships.  He has done discipleship Training with Word of Life, Uganda (2015) and is affiliated with the Navigators. He is actively leading and growing with his friends through Bible study (One9) that started in 2016. He bears a heart for discipleship and youth ministry.

Family

Nobert was born and raised in a loving Christian family with 7 biological siblings  and a strong bond with his extended family. He grew up with many cousins and non-biological siblings that are still part of his life. Nobert lost his father in 2016, but God has been kind that his beloved mother is still strong. He lives by himself as he serves God through eMi. He has many friends; and some of them have become family.
