Your skills are a key which unlock a whole world of possible projects at home, but have you considered how much further they could take you, and what impact they might have if you served with them abroad?
In EMI's Spring Network events, we'll be considering the impact built environment professionals can have at home and abroad, particularly looking at some EMI case studies. But we'll also consider how far our skills should take us - whether British and Irish professionals should be working on designs in the global south, and what practices we can put in place to ensure cross-cultural design work is done responsibly.
Join our EMI Bath event on Thursday 8th May at St Matt’s Church, Widcombe Hill, BA2 6AA to hear from EMI UK Trustee Meg who led a project to design a vocational school masterplan for Ignite Change in Uganda.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Look forward to seeing you there!
