Your skills are a key which unlock a whole world of possible projects at home, but have you considered how much further they could take you, and what impact they might have if you served with them abroad?
In EMI's Spring Network events, we'll be considering the impact built environment professionals can have at home and abroad, particularly looking at some EMI case studies. But we'll also consider how far our skills should take us - whether British and Irish professionals should be working on designs in the global south, and what practices we can put in place to ensure cross-cultural design work is done responsibly.
Join our EMI North-East event on Monday 28th April at 7:30pm, in Sheffield. We'll be hearing from Genevieve Leake, EMI UK Development & Engagement Coordinator, and former EMI Intern. Exact location TBC. We will be update the details here and via email once confirmed.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Look forward to seeing you there!
