EMI partnered with Medair and EPFL to provide technical support during the third and fourth phases of a Tech4Dev innovation project aimed at designing flood-resilient shelters for South Sudan. These phases involved prototype testing in collaboration with architecture students from the University of Juba, training Shelter Cluster partners and local community members on shelter replication and construction, distributing 50 shelters to a flood-affected community, and monitoring both the implementation process and the impact to inform future improvements.
