Amazima Ministries identified the need for high-quality secondary school education in Uganda for their sponsored children. In 2014, EMI Uganda developed a phased maser plan for The Amazima Secondary School where Phase 1 commenced in 2015.  The  Science laboratory, examination room and the specialties block are part of phase 6A.

EMI Uganda undertook the responsibilities of site planning, architecture, engineering, and construction management for this phase. The laboratory block is segmented into sections for chemistry and biology laboratories, along with an examinations classroom. These are strategically positioned alongside a demonstration garden at the rear, with a planter serving as a divider between the two blocks.
