ShareWord Global (formerly known as the Gideons) ignites, equips, and empowers Christians to share their faith using scripture. With the re-branding of the organization, consolidation of office spaces into one main headquarters, and a young, enthusiastic staff, ShareWord Global’s office space is not service their current needs or culture. A refresh of existing space and an addition of new space are needed.

After conducting a site visit and meetings with staff and stakeholders, EMI Canada developed a vision and functional program that would meet ShareWord Global’s current and future space needs. This space was then laid out on the site to determine how and how much additional space could be created. During this exercise, zoning constraints were identified and EMI Canada also provided advice on how to mitigate these issues.

Despite the zoning constraints, ShareWord Global was able to go ahead with an internal refurbishment. This increased their seating capacity to 52, reinforced their vision and mission through prominent signage, and the blue and orange colour scheme reflects their brand colours.
