Restoration Gateway's vision is to develop a Christ-centered, model community that will foster God’s heart for physical and spiritual restoration among the people of war-torn Uganda. Strategically located on a 700 acre plot overlooking the Nile River in Northern Uganda, RG has plans to provide: loving homes, education, and health-care for 300 orphans; biblical training for church planters, missionaries and local pastors; a health-care training facility to care for and provide ministry to the sick and serve as an equipping center for medical personnel; a children’s camp and pastoral retreat center for Ugandan pastors; agricultural and fishery demonstration projects; a multi-purpose center for worship and biblical teaching; a school for job training and professional skill development; first-class resort.
EMI performed a masterplan in 2012 for the young ministry. Now, with new developments in the ministry plans and the expansion of the campus to over 80 buildings, more thought needs to go into the future of their campus infrastructure. Our team will be doing an extensive, comprehensive evaluation of their water, wastewater, and drainage systems.
Water Systems Assessment
Provide documentation, assessment, and recommendations regarding RG’s water supply, wastewater treatment and storm water infrastructure; to include documentation and assessment of water supply, storage and distribution, including water quality testing, verifying existing water demand and evaluating storage capacity; wastewater and sanitary systems, including distribution networks, soils percolation testing and verifying existing wastewater demand; and on-site drainage patterns and watershed analysis, including research into regional rainfall patterns.
