EMI is thrilled to work with Terra Nova Children's Home in the master plan development of their new site. We will be helping them plan for new housing, school facilities, agriculture and more!
Terra Nova Children's Home currently cares for 34 orphans on a 1-acre site in northeast Zambia. As the children in their care have grown, so have the needs of the ministry. They purchased land in 2016 in order to provide additional housing and develop a source of fresh fruits and vegetables. Along with providing for the orphans in their care, the ministry hopes to increase their gospel impact by providing additional jobs for the community and offering education for children in the surrounding village. The orphan home has a long-range goal of providing clean water for the community.
EMI will be providing concept design for housing, education buildings and agricultural facilities on an undeveloped site along the banks of the Luongo River. Our design will include administration and recreation spaces, agriculture spaces, and water treatment options. The site is approximately 120 acres in size.
