Step Locally, Impact Globally :: Join us for the EMI Canada Walk/Run 4 Hope

Have you ever considered the hope we find in places? Think of the mother with a sick child, finding hope in a medical clinic. Think of the impoverished senior citizen, finding hope in a care facility. Think of the girl rescued out of human trafficking, finding hope in a recovery home.

So often, we take these places of hope for granted; places that, in some contexts, just aren't available or accessible.

This is why EMI exists - to bring hope through design, so that more people around the world have access to these places of hope. Empowered by a network of supporters like you, we work with local ministry partners around the globe to deliver professional design services in the name of Christ.

Want to join us?

We're excited to invite our friends across Canada to join us in the first-ever EMI Canada Walk/Run 4 Hope! Given our current COVID-19 restrictions, we're moving our annual running/walking fundraiser to a virtual format, and you can be a part of it, wherever you are!

We're looking for 50 people to join Team EMI - will you be one of them?

What's a virtual walk/run?

It's a walk or run that you complete on your own or in a small group that respects your local physical distancing guidelines. You are free to choose how far you walk or run, and you're free to choose where you walk or run. Team EMI participants will complete their walk or run anytime between July 1 and August 1.

When you join Team EMI, you'll be encouraged to fundraise for EMI Canada.

Who can take part?

Anyone, anywhere is welcome to join Team EMI and walk/run wherever you are!  You're free to choose the length of your walk or run, so there's something for everyone at every fitness level. Consider this an opportunity to get out for your favorite scenic stroll OR set and achieve a personal fitness goal while partnering with EMI Canada!

What does it cost to join?

We're glad to say that it's free to register!
All participants will be encouraged to fundraise for EMI Canada, with special incentives for those who reach fundraising targets. If you raise $100, you'll get a custom EMI t-shirt. If you raise $500, we'll throw in a custom EMI aluminum water bottle! If you raise at $1,000, we'll throw in something extra!

What does my fundraising support?

When you walk or run with Team EMI, every dollar you fundraise will go to the EMI Fund, which lays the groundwork for all that EMI does to equip and mobilize design professionals as they serve ministries and transform lives around the globe.  Visit our project portfolio to see the impact your fundraising can have.
