Join us at The Amazima School, Njeru for a Walkabout and Q&A with Campus Architect Tony McBurney
In 2014, Amazima Ministries International (AMI) invited EMI to dream and design a brand new set of schools for their growing organisation in Njeru, Uganda.
Eight years later, the two schools have an enrolment of about 700 students from P1 through S4. The 65 acre secondary school campus has over 60 buildings that include staff and student accommodation, O-level and A-level facilities, a Library, a Student Centre, and a 1500 seat Chapel.
EMI invites the architecture community to join them on a site walkabout with the Campus Design Architect Tony McBurney.
The site walk will be followed by a short presentation and Q&A with Tony. This will be an insightful time of re-living the history of a large, school development project from its inception through its 8-year construction timeline.
