EMI MENA is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join our team and lead our marketing and business development efforts as we expand our impact and strengthen relationships with ministry partners, donors, and stakeholders across the region. As a key member of the team, you will help communicate EMI’s vision, build meaningful partnerships, identify new opportunities, and support the advancement of our mission throughout the MENA region.

The Marketing & Business Development Manager brings professional expertise in marketing, communications, relationship management, and strategic growth. They are passionate about connecting with diverse audiences and developing sustainable partnerships. They are comfortable working across cultures, engaging with both local and international stakeholders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and invest in ministry partners, donors, volunteers, design professionals, and emerging leaders while helping expand the reach and effectiveness of EMI’s ministry.

Qualifications

In addition to the typical EMI staff prerequisites, candidates for this position must have:

  • Demonstrated engagement with EMI through participation in either an EMI Project Trip, initiative, event, or other significant ministry activity within the last 12 months.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to the MENA region.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, partnership development, business development, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate vision, engage supporters, and build meaningful relationships with ministry partners, donors, volunteers, and professional networks.
  • Proven leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures, engage diverse stakeholders, and effectively represent EMI's mission and values.
Responsibilities

The following are essential responsibilities for this position:

  • Spiritual and professional discipleship through EMI's programmes and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement marketing, communications, and business development strategies that increase awareness of EMI's ministry, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support organizational growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with ministry partners, donors, churches, volunteers, professional networks, and other key stakeholders to advance EMI's mission and impact.
  • Create and oversee compelling content, campaigns, and communications across digital, print, and in-person channels that effectively communicate EMI's vision, projects, and ministry outcomes.
  • Train and mentor interns and staff in marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional and global EMI teams to support project recruitment, volunteer engagement, fundraising initiatives, events, and other ministry priorities.
