David Wituszynski is passionate about water and wildlife, and asks a lot of questions. This has resulted in several degrees. After an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, he obtained a masters degree while studying algal toxins in Lake Erie sportfish. For his doctoral work, he helped start and run a stormwater sampling program, while also developing an ecological sampling program for birds and insects in stormwater infrastructure. While in graduate school, David completed a civil engineering internship with EMI in the Uganda office in 2016. After graduation, David stayed on for several months to support active research programs. He started a fellowship in the Research and Development department at EMI in 2021.
