Kerstin Fourie

Deputy Director of Office & Architectural Technician, EMI South Africa

Joined EMI January 2019

Professional Training & Experience

Kerstin completed her Architectural Technologist BTech degree at CPUT in Cape Town in 2008. She then worked at a well-established architecture firm in Cape Town for 8 years. Her main focus was maintaining existing shopping malls on the design team as well as designing new shopping mall developments.

Ministry Experience

Kerstin enjoyed every part of being raised in a missionary home, yet she never thought that she would join the mission field herself. During her corporate career, she got a life-threatening disease but was given a second chance at life. She had been feeling restless in the corporate world, looking for a greater purpose in her 9 to 5. She took courage in God and left her job to follow His plan for her life.

In the last four years, Kerstin has allowed the Holy Spirit more space in her heart and has witnessed physical and emotional healing in her life. This process was facilitated by a healing and deliverance ministry course she attended, whose leadership team she is now part of.

Family

Kerstin is married to Carl and they live in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Her husband has a love for off-road motorbike riding. They had a simple little wedding in a stone church near their home in 2013. It celebrated the beauty of the simple and profound things that God provides; and they were able to share that with each other, friends and family.
