The India Pentecostal Church Northern Region (IPCNR) operates a 3-story facility in Faridabad, Haryana.  The top 2 floors contain a meeting hall, theological training program and staff residence. IPCNR desired to utilize the ground floor of the building to house an outreach program to 18-25 year old youth.  Largely the children of migrant laborers, these youth have been unable to complete their schooling due to financial constraints, and as such, lack the necessary skills to enter the workforce. IPCNR’s program, to be called the Life Resource Centre (LRC), will provide English classes, computer trainings, and personal/professional development opportunities, while at the same time providing a safe and loving environment.  Additionally, the space will be used by pastors and church leaders for conferences and meetings.

EMI’s design of the 1,200 sq ft space includes reception and admin spaces, a small conference room, kitchenette, classroom for 50 students, computer training space for 12 students, and two restrooms. The completed and constructed design provides a youthful yet professional space where youth from all over India can grow and learn.  EMI acted both as the interior designers and general contractors for the project which was completed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
