SIL Senegal Office Campus

SIL is a faith-based, non-profit organization committed to helping language communities around the world develop the skills and abilities they need to preserve and revitalize their languages.

Born of a desire to serve the populations of the various regions better and be more accessible, it was decided to relocate the SIL center from Dakar to Thies. The leadership team spoke with the Vision & Strategy committee and all SIL Senegal staff members, as well as local partners (FES and DPTLL) to work together to achieve a common goal.
EMI Senegal was tasked with creating a design that met the client's desire to build an administrative space for SIL Senegal, shared space with the partners (FES and DPTLL), a workspace for FES, DPTLL & Translation, accommodation space and an annex/utilities space.
