Kibuye Hospital Surgery Ward

EMI Uganda designed and managed the construction of the two-level, 8,500 square feet, Surgery Ward at Kibuye Hope Hospital. This building provides space for forty-eight patients receiving internal medicine and surgery recovery care.

The Surgery Ward has been the catalyst for other major buildings to come and has set the standard for new and improved patient care for all current and future development of Kibuye Hope Hospital. 

Patient beds and windows are oriented to capture the views of the surrounding hills and clerestory windows allow for more natural light into the building.
