Harpur Memorial Hospital

Harpur Memorial Hospital exists to provide excellent, compassionate and low-cost medical care to the underprivileged in their local community. The hospital was established in 1910 by Dr. Harpur, an Irish physician who came to Egypt in 1889, originally working in Cairo, but then travelling to rural areas where medical care was sorely lacking or non-existent.

In February 2015 a team of EMI Architects visited HMH to do the programming and begin the Architectural Schematic Design drawings for floors of the future G+8 story building, including revisiting the first 2 floors of outpatient clinics. The New Hospital Building will be developed in four phases.
