Kipindi Mpito Master Plan, Uganda
Project Details
Kipindi Mpito, a ministry of Forgotten Children Worldwide, is deeply committed to supporting vulnerable youth in Uganda, particularly teenagers from broken backgrounds. This ministry provides a nurturing environment where these young individuals can find safety, support, and healing, ultimately altering the course of their lives for the better.
The program focuses on guiding youth through the transition from school to adulthood during a crucial gap year. It offers a protective and encouraging space where they can be mentored, supported, and their hope restored.
The goal of the program is to create a "micro-community" where students can live, heal, and grow together. At the heart of the campus is a central hub designed with a variety of spaces to cater to the diverse needs of the youth. These spaces range from areas for contemplation to spaces for celebrating achievements with friends, providing a holistic environment for healing and growth.
