Amazima Ministries International (AMI) envisioned a Secondary School programme as a means to educate and disciple underserved communities around Jinja, Uganda. The school provides nurturing and healing for young, vulnerable children while introducing a quality, Christ-centered education.

EMI Uganda has been a partner with Amazima Ministries International (AMI) since 2014, providing site planning, architecture, engineering and construction management for phased development on an 86-acre site in Njeru. The Chapel extension established the character for a largely steel light weight building, using locally-fired exposed clay bricks and bamboo screens to form the façade. The mezzanine floor and stepped ground floor make it suitable for conference and dining activities respectively.
