Celebrating Daniel Propst’s 10 years of Service to EMI
EMI Uganda,We're excited to celebrate Daniel Propst’s 10-year tenure with EMI! Daniel grew up in Kenya and comes from a long line of missionaries. He and his wife, Jen, met while they were both serving in southern Sudan. After working in the US manufacturing industry for several years, Daniel, Jen, and their three kids, Estella, Kharis, and Lawson, came to EMI Uganda to launch our Research and Development Programme as the R&D Manager.
Daniel embodies EMI’s core values. His desire to improve pushes us towards design and construction excellence. He drives us to utilize our diversity by seeking diverse cultural perspectives and incorporating our multidisciplinary experience. And he has a heart for the gospel and discipleship. Daniel has mentored many interns, led discipleship groups, and, through his devotions, he invites us into a deeper relationship with our loving Father.
Outside of EMI, Daniel has been a pillar of his church community, including being installed as an elder last year. He has a vast knowledge of the ubiquitous 1990s-era Toyota Landcruiser, with which he faithfully serves as the EMI Mamba driver (Makindye carpool car). Daniel is an excellent and charismatic storyteller and has a sharp and insightful sense of humor. He and Jen bring a wealth of global cultural expertise and maturity to our team, and we are so thankful for them!
Thank you, Daniel, for your ten years of service with EMI!
