Ministry Experience

After graduating from university, Brittany spent a year teaching computer skills to inner-city youth in Boston. With a heart to use technical skills to serve others, she then joined TechMission, a Christian non-profit that uses technology to serve inner-city and under-resourced communities. As the Director of Program Operations, she coordinated a multi-state internship program serving inner-city after-school programs.

With a passion for people and a love for East Africa, Brittany spent a year as an engineering intern in EMI's Uganda office before joining staff in 2011. She served with EMI Uganda for six years as the Operations Manager, where she worked in such areas as finance, human resources, office management, and design project assistance. Her continued desire to serve others brought her to the Global Office in 2017, where she is excited to build on her experience with EMI Uganda and with American non-profits to support EMI's missional work around the world.

Family

Brittany and her husband Brett live in Denver, Colorado. They enjoy music, theater, travel, and the great outdoors, and they serve together on their church's worship team.
