Professional Training & Experience
BS Civil Engineering Michigan Technological University 1983.
Registered Profesional Engineer State of Indiana.
Worked 20 years for a construction company that specialized in water and wastewater treatment facilities for municipalities. In 2003 formed own company doing the same kind of work with the specific purpose to intentionally "challenge, train, and equip individuals to seek first the Kingdom of God in their lives". In 2021 sold the business and joined EMI Uganda in 2022 as the Workshop Manager and advisor to the CM program.
Ministry Experience
Missionally minded, served in many capacities both in the church and in the community. For 20 years much of the ministry was children and youth focused. Served as worship leader, marionette puppetry, and outdoor adventurer. The later 20 years involved more mentoring adults professionally and spiritually. Lead or participated in numerous short term trips to Trinidad and Tobago, Sierra Leone, Guinee, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Kenya and now serving in Uganda until God calls to go somewhere else or brings home.
Family
Married while in University to Cheryl (also Civil Engineer) in 1982. Four children all of which are now in their 30's. They all live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
