Since graduating, Jorge has worked for different architecture/building firms in the state of Baja California, Mexico. Prior to joining eMi he served as special project leader in YUGO, a ministry dedicated to building sustainable change in Mexico thorugh various programs including responsable design and construction. 

Jorge thrives in the relational client-project dynamic, he truly enjoys the whole architectural design process but has a strong passion for the interaction with ministries understanding their vision and helping them understand their true spatial needs and potential. 

Ministry Experience

Jorge first came to know EMI during his time in Bible school. He participated in two project trips with EMI Canada, one of them in Rosarito Mexico and the second one in his hometown, Ensenada, Mexico. He participated in a third project trip in Mexico with EMI Nicaragua in 2017 before finally joining the Nicaragua office in September 2018.  

Jorge served as staff architect with EMI Nicaragua from Mar 2018 - Apr 2020, and is now director of the EMI Mexico office.

Family

Jorge and Gilda met in college and married in August 2013, the Lord has blessed them with two boys, Mateo (6) and Bruno (1). Today they are living in their home town Ensenada, and serve with the EMI Mexico office. They continue to grow in faith and are in constance seeking for God's guidance to help them find His purpose and vision for them, as a Latin American missionary family.
