Ministry Experience

Judith and Husband Tony led the youth work for 7 years in their church in Norton, Stockton on tees.

After a visit to friends in Nepal challenged them about their ideas of “Missionary” they joined the Baptist Missionary Society and were based in India for 12 years. While Tony was overseeing hospital and clinic construction projects Judith was involved with local projects for disabled Children. Varying from teaching in the Vocational Training unit for children with Cerebral Palsy, to a Day Care centre in Delhi working with their most handicapped youngsters and helping to start a similar project in one of the more rural Christian hospitals.

After 5 years back in the UK they joined EMI Uganda and while Tony acted as project manager in Kenya and Burundi Judith would be on the wards acting as a play therapist taking in toys and games and helping with those children who wanted to keep up on their schooling.

Family

Now living in Scotland and a growing collection of nephews and great nephews.

Taking on the role of HR/Member care has been quite a learning curve but it’s a privilege to care for all our staff and to be a part of the process of those seeking God for the next step in their lives.
