Kyle spent the first 9 years as an electrical engineer in the defense sector for both naval and space applications. During that time Kyle volunteered with EMI regularly on project trips and remotely. Kyle joined EMI staff in 2025.

Ministry Experience

Kyle lived overseas during his early childhood for his parents work and been exposed to many cultures at that time across the Middle East, Europe and Southeast Asia. As Kyle grew up in the church and taking part of multiple mission trips Kyle developed a love for travel and saw the need for the Gospel everywhere. After becoming an Electrical Engineer and working in the private sector for a short amount of time, Kyle had a growing desire to glorify God with his occupation. So, he started to regularly volunteer with EMI since 2016. Kyle's involvement with EMI continually grew until eventually God opened the door for Kyle to join EMI.

Family

Kyle and Carissa have been married since 2017 and have four wonderful children - Isaiah (2018), Gabriella (2020), Lidiah (2022), & Josephine (2024). Carissa homeschools the kids and spends most of her time at home mothering/teaching the kids, gardening, and raising chickens. In addition, she enjoys when she is able to serve on the worship team at their Church as a vocalist.
