After graduating from college in 2013, Marcos worked in a local architecture and design office for two years, participating in several home, commercial and urban projects. After that, he worked for a construction company, where he performed as a construction manager for various housing projects. Marcos has been a freelance architect since 2017, during this time he has grown his experience in detail design plans, construction management and the local construction permitting process.

Ministry Experience

Marcos began his journey of faith in the year 2021, when a friend and colleague, told him about EMI, after meeting with the initial launch team and learning about the ministry he decided to participate as a volunteer on a project trip to Cuernavaca, Mexico for a Multi-ministry Center Master plan. He continues to grow and mature in faith as he engages in discipleship and devotions in the Mexico office and participates with his local church.


Marcos is married to Nancy, with whom he has been in a loving relationship for 12 years, they have a son named Axel (10). Nancy and Marcos were born and raised in Ensenada B.C and are both part of the Free Methodist Church community along with other local staff in the Mexico team. Nancy runs a fast food business, Marcos currently serves with EMI Mexico as staff architect, and supports Nancy on his free time. They seek to continue growing in faith while serving God and their community as a Christian family.
